John is in his 17th year as a Realtor in the High Country of North Carolina, specializing in Banner Elk and the surrounding areas of Avery and Watauga Counties.
John graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and had a career as a CPA and later as Treasurer of a New York Stock Exchange company.
John is noted for his negotiating skills, honesty, professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge of the market. John has the experience to assist with any of your real estate needs given the large number of sales transactions he has conducted.
John has done extensive volunteering, including putting on the Concerts in the Park for five years, serving as Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club for 11 years and orchestrating the July 4th Celebration (other than the parade) for many years.
John moved to Banner Elk, from South Florida, in June 2005. John and his wife, Laura Anne, moved a little further out in 2019 to have a mini-farm with 2 rescue donkeys, 9 chickens, 2 barn cats and 2 dogs! John enjoys the farm life while continuing as a full-time Realtor in Banner Elk.
